How to Prepare Your Home for Service

We hope you are as excited as we are for your upcoming cleaning! Here are a few things you can do to prepare for a safe and smooth service before we arrive.

Here is a short checklist to help you prepare for your upcoming pressure washing, or soft washing service:

1: Make sure water is turned on to outside spigot, preferably whichever is closest to driveway.

2: Make sure all windows are fully closed and locked.

3: Move any small potted plants or other portable or hanging items (like wind chimes) away from the home.

4: Move any cloth patio cushions or other items that you feel may use sensitive to bleach indoors. If Patio Concrete or decking is being cleaned, please remove all items from the area including patio furniture.

5: Park vehicles away from the immediate vicinity of the building to avoid overspray.

Some brief notes about our house power washing service:

We use a low pressure method for power washing that safely removes a wide variety of organic contaminants (mold, mildew, algae, lichens, etc.). We do not remove inorganic staining such as rust, oxidation, gutter “tiger stripes”, and “fallout staining” under eaves and areas not exposed to rainfall.

Depending on the age and condition of your siding, oxidation may appear uneven after being washed. Oftentimes, this will even itself out over time, with time

Here's a quick checklist to help you prepare for your upcoming Gutter Cleaning Service:

1: Please move vehicles, patio furniture or any other items away from the area that could impede safe ladder placements for reaching your gutter line.

2: Please trim any tree branches that could impede safe ladder placements for reaching your gutter line.

Preparing for Your Window Cleaning Service

A little preparation goes a long way to ensure a smooth, efficient window cleaning service and sparkling results. Here’s what you can do:

1. Clear the Area: This is key! We need unobstructed access to all windows, inside and out.

  • Indoors: Please move furniture, plants, decor, and personal items away from windows and sills. If you have large, heavy furniture you can't move, cover it with a sheet to protect it from any drips.
  • Outdoors: Clear away patio furniture, potted plants, gardening tools, and anything else blocking exterior windows. If bushes or branches are touching windows, consider trimming them back if possible.

2. Remove Window Coverings: For interior cleaning, please take down any curtains, drapes, blinds, or shades. This allows us to clean the entire glass surface effectively and prevents accidental damage to your coverings.

3. Address Window Screens: If you'd like your screens cleaned, please remove them from the windows before our arrival. This Service will be an additional charge, please let us know before arrival so we may provide this price. This saves time and ensures they're ready for service (often an add-on).

4. Secure Pets: For the safety and comfort of your beloved companions and our technicians, please secure all pets in a separate, quiet room or a safe outdoor area away from the work zone. New faces and unfamiliar equipment can be exciting or stressful for animals, and we want to ensure a calm environment for everyone, avoiding any accidental escapes or injuries.

5. Communicate Special Instructions: Have delicate windows, hard-to-reach areas, or specific requests? Please let us know when scheduling or upon our arrival.

6. Provide Access: We may need access to an outdoor water spigot or electrical outlet. Please ensure these are accessible and working.
